Chicago is so close I can taste it. I'll finally be free on FRIDAY. I'll post the phone number and the address (which I expect everyone to use...) when I get there. I miss you all. There is one word that sums up all the greatness in this world: Camp. I fucking love my job- its filled with some of the most amazing girls I have ever met. They are hilarious, strong minded, and just generally wonderful people. I am sitting in the kitchen of the dining hall at the moment and my two friends from Australia and England are making us dinner. It smells great.
3 campers made up a song about me- it made my life. We have a camp song called the buffalo song and the lyrics are as follows:

How hilarious is that? I love camp. With a passion. A few of us took a road trip to a different camp today to finnish some of our Lifeguard training (Which is way intense by the way), and Lucky (another one of my camp friends) and I blasted classic rock and oldies the entire way. I have finally found someone who has the same intrests in music as me! How amazing.
I just killed a mosquito.
Not much else is new. I think i'll go eat some of the amazing potato and veggie dinner Weebl and Melly have created for us.

Prom was a blast and a half. Steve was a very nice date. His dancing made my night- he even swing danced with me. The afterparty was fun too- I might have murdered Ben's arm in the movie theater because I was startled so much in the movie. Got pretty much no sleep.
I have to make my movie in the last two weeks of school. How the hell am I going to get done? I dont know.

Went to the ER on thursday night because my heart rate was 120 at rest... it's supposed to be around 60. Was having some chest pain- not too painful, but enough to be uncomfortable. The Doctor at the ER was from a different country and sponk really fast with some accent that was probably Russian. Sponk. She was sort of scary and gave me a crazy look when I told her I had been having chest pains for a few days. That was neat. They drew a lot of blood, which was unpleasent. Get the tests back on monday. I also apparently have a heart murmer.
I finally got my Led Zeppelin DVD today. Its rawther exciting. Full of hotness and face-melting guitar solos, just as expected.
got the Drac. paper done- finally. Was close to shooting myself. Its probably just about the worst thing I have ever written.
My dad is in CA having a reunion with his high school friends. One of them is a famous rock photographer. He's taken pictures of tons of famous people. I told my dad he had better come back with stories.
So, if my heart doesn't kill me- school probably will. Hoorah.

This was quite an interesting movie. I'm a fan. It was of course violent to no end... but the movie was so cool VISUALLY that it totally made up for it. Plus, it was quite amusing in some parts. Others were kind of awkward- like the picture above... I won't give away the movie if you decide to go see it.
What else did I do today? Hung out with Amanda and Rob, which was neat. Wanted to stab myself in math class, but held back. Wanted to stab myself again in E-Sci. That's about it. I need to find some good music.

So... i'm updating... with not a heck of a lot to say except RAY COOPER IS A SEXMONSTER!
And, yeah. Spring break was nifty. I hung out with the mandar, which was a blast. I also cleaned my room and got rid of half the crap that I own. That... was not a blast. I also went to Iowa to visit the fam, which was most certainly blast-worthy.
School sucks, yet again... and my face just might fall off from the load of homework.
I will keep it in a jar.

I thought someone took my purse yesterday... I was close to bursting into tears... but I didn't. I held in all my whirling, twirling emotions... and found my purse/carpet bag.
Hopefully the activity for tomorrow night will be SIN CITY watching. At the cinema.

I've decided that Livejournal is kind of stupid. No one ever reads mine and they probably don't care what I have to say.
But I'm going to continue rambling about my boring life for this entry anyway.
I had my interview at camp on saturday- I hope I get the job! How kick-ass would that be?? Yeah, that's right. Really kick-ass. I got some new CDs today, which is always thrilling. Led Zeppelin III, Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppelin and Careless Love by Madeline Peyroux. All quite nice.
Watched Blues Brothers with Elizabeth and Tanya las night- what a freaking awesome movie. Am I right?
Right. Well.. I guess I'm finnished.

Wow- I just spent an obsene amount of time filling this out. There are about a hundred other things I could be doing with my time. Do I chooose to do them? No, of course not.
So- I went to Chicago over the weekend. That was awesome until some fuckass stole my wallet at an El station. The idiot immediately took it and filled up two cars with gas on my visa buxx card. I was somewhat of an idiot too though- I should have been wearing a sign that said, "LOOK, MY PURSE DOESN'T CLOSE RIGHT, STEAL MY WALLET!". My mom told me to wear my purse on the inside of my jacket but I didn't listen. Always listen to your mother... in situations like this...
I asked my mom if I actually had to go back to high school after visiting DePaul this weekend. She told me, "Unfortunately, yes." At least she has some sympathy for me. I have no idea what the fuck I'm going to do for my movie- one of my actors can't be in it because they are too busy so I either have to completely rewrite (again) or find another alternative. The film gods are against me. Why?

I wish I could push all my finals off a cliff. I'm not sure that would help very much considering they would be at the bottom of a cliff... and I would probably still fail- but It would make me feel better...
I ordered two books of Amazon yesterday! HOW EXCITING! One is about the Who and the other is about Led Zeppelin... They are supposed to be sent out on friday. I don't know if I can wait that long. Its time for some FUN reading. I guess anything would be funner (yes, funner) than Bless Me, Ultima or my American Government text book.
Spanish and Math finals tomorrow. Actually, i've changed my mind. Could someone push ME off a cliff instead? |

Ah yes. Finals time. Intense studying has confiscated my social life for the past few days -- except for today, I studied with Lauren and Stephanie for our American Government final. Two words: Holy Shit. One-Shot has got to be insane, there is no way anyone could study for that test with the stuff he gave us. I just have to read, re-read, read some more, re-read that, read even more, and hope that somehow I'll get an okay grade. It's finger crossing time my friends!
I got the greatest new coat today at My Sister's Closet on Grand. Its beautiful, sort of winter-hippie-ish. Its really hard to discribe but I'll try to post a picture of it sometime soon. I might even wear it to school next week. Really, the coat is amazing... it gives me a little boost of confidence-how handy.

As well as talking to Amy for about 2 hours.... I never talk on the phone, what's with that?! Anyway, that was neat.
Student Showcase is going AMAZINGLY WELL. ALL OF YOU SHOULD COME. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. EVEN THOSE OF YOU WHO LIVE IN IOWA. IT'S GOING TO BE HILARIOUS! (At least i'm pretty sure Marie's and mine will be... I haven't watched the others. Audrey's will be fabulous as well, i'm sure!! haha) Its January 29th. Be there or be a four sided geometric figure. (square- for those of you who are like ME and are idiots when it comes to math)
Stress level is at a high, but has gone down somewhat since I got some good news about my film. Hoorah!

Right. So... I was pretty sure that I would never need a peer helper in all of my days as a high school student at Minnehaha Academy. Oh how I was wrong. I actually had to pull Amanda out of class today so I could calm down a bit. I was about to go off the deep end... if I haven't already... and I'm glad that she was there to help.
And I would like to state that I wish Jimmy Page didn't turn 50-something yesterday... He's a rock god. And Hannah can call me polytheistic all she wants, BUT- I have GREG on my side. And everyone knows you can't beat Greg. Right?
